NILE Forced To Miss Today's OZZFEST In Phoenix

July 24, 2007

NILE has been forced to miss today's Ozzfest at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix, Arizona. "Our bus is broken down in Barstow California and will not be repaired in time to allow us to participate in Tuesday's Ozzfest," stated NILE mainman Karl Sanders. "We will, however, rejoin the Ozzfest tour in Albuquerque [on Thursday, July 26]. We regret any inconvenience this causes anyone."

According to reports, NILE barely made it to the House of Blues show in Hollywood, California Monday night (July 23) with a minimal amount of equipment. They "put on an amazing show, despite the long day [with the bus being broken down in the desert since 9:00 a.m. Monday], only one van for transporting equipment form the broken down bus to the venue, and arriving 20 minutes before doors opened."

An e-card for NILE's new album, "Ithyphallic", can be accessed at this location. Released in the U.S. on July 17 via Nuclear Blast Records (July 23 in most of Europe),the CD was recorded at Sound Lab Studios in Columbia, South Carolina with producer Neil Kernon (NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE) and engineer Bob Moore.
